Emmy and Alexander Zimmermann didn’t just commit to spending the rest of their lives together. The Berlin-based rock ’n’ roll couple from Bavaria also work together as a slick, almost telepathic, director-DoP duo harnessing years of experience in film production, photography and even electrical & mechanical engineering. Emmy is the director whereas Alexander focuses on camera, but this distinction isn’t always that clear due to the synergy in their work. They create films that feel organic and almost documentary-like.
